No one has a perfect childhood. Early stressors, abuse, and neglect can continue to have profound effects on all of us and can manifest as depression, anxiety, anger, and low-self esteem. As many of us continue through life while enduring pain and distress we may end up learning to neglect our own needs and suppressing our own emotions to get by.

In therapy I will provide you a safe, supportive space that belongs to you, in which you may share as much as you are willing and at a pace that you are comfortable with. While working together, I aim to help you undo old ways of being and to help you begin fostering a more compassionate relationship with yourself.

As an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist, I believe that I am a facilitator in your journey of change. I use an integrative approach that draws from Person-Centered Therapy, Gestalt Therapy, Emotion-Focused Therapy, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. I’ve worked with adults, children, families, and couples with a variety of issues including: depression, anxiety, anger, trauma, motivation, ADHD, racial/cultural identity, perfectionism, and LGBTQIA+ concerns.
